Arkeis (pronounced ark-ICE) is a Pokémon site that focuses on Pokémon art and the games, as well as the many things that take place in those games. Check out Pokémon Factory, where you can find pictures of all your favorite Pokémon drawn by me. And if you're playing the games and want some helpful tips on them, head over to the Game Info section. You can also learn a lot from the Mechanics section, because there are a lot of hidden numbers in the game that have a big impact on how you play. Finally, you can learn how to better train your Pokémon and create a better team by reading the Battle Guides.

Sorry about the delay, I had no internet yesterday. But Hard Gold v2 is finally out now so go download it HERE. There are quite a few new additions and changes to this version, which you can see by watching the video below:

August Corocoro, also Hard Gold Release Date!

So a bunch of Pokemon were revealed this month and of course, I just had to draw them. I also added Gochiruzeru and Victini. This brings the total number of Pokemon drawn in this update to a whopping NINE! Sorry, I don't have a video this time since my computer crashed before I could upload it.

But in other news, I will be releasing Version 2 of the Hard Gold ROM Hack on August 20th. That means in exactly 6 days, you will be able to play this game! Check back soon for details.

The Ides of Pokemon

Today's update will be a pretty long one, mostly because there's quite a lot of content I uploaded. The release of Black and White is only about 2 months away! I might add a countdown timer on the top of this page in the next update. But for now, enjoy the new info that we have on these games as well as the new images I am bringing you.

First, let's get some sprites out of the way. I've done some pretty large sprites last month, most of which are scratch sprites, except for the 4th one, which is a fusion.

Also, due to the new Corocoro scans, I've done some of the new Pokemon revealed in this issue. That goth girl Gochiruzeru will come in a future update. Same thing goes for the sprite contest results.

A Challenge Appears!

Wow, bet you didn't expect an update so quick, right? Well, this is something special.

During May, I've been experimenting with hacking a ROM of Heart Gold. The result is what I call "Hard Gold". Basically, it's a more challenging version of HG/SS where many trainers in the game have much stronger Pokemon. There are plenty of other changes too. If you want a Pokemon game that has a higher difficulty level, check out the new ROM Hacks page and download it now!

NOTE 6/28: It seems that there is a glitch in the game that prevents you from getting past the 4th gym. I'll try to work on it and upload a fixed version soon. Downloads are closed for now.

Everyone Get in Here!

Before I begin, I just want to say that I have a summer job with limited internet access. However, I should be able to update regularly unless something happens.

Anyways, last week we saw the reveal of seven new Pokemon, even more than the number of Pokemon revealed in May. As usual, I have added these guys to the Pokemon Factory.

Welcome the New Guys

So that week that new Black & White legendaries were revealed. That makes a total of 5 new Pokemon revealed in just one month. Well, these two guys are certainly..interesting...actually, I couldn't help thinking about Palkia when I drew them! What do you think?

Welcome the New Guys

Oh finally! The new starters are revealed and eh....I'll leave you to form your own opinions about them. As for me, I'm definitely going with the Grass one. I mean, just look at him! All smug and everything. Anyways, I've already completed them for the Pokemon Factory. Three in one day! That must be a new record! Check out the video below:

Black, White, Gold, and Silver

It took me a while to update, but I finally did. First of all, I'm sure you're excited about the news on Pokemon Black and White. I've made an entirely new section for these two games over on the Game Info area. Of course, there's not too much we know so far besides some screenshots.

Next is an update for Heart Gold and Soul Silver. More specifically, I updated the Legendary Pokemon page so that it has information on how to get the legends in HG/SS.

And that's not all because I also uploaded a new speed painting last week. With Squirtle finished, that means all three Kanto starters are complete and marks the beginning of a whole new section - Mobile Wallpapers! Go check it out!

Finally, some new sprites have been added.
