Sprite Contests
Every few months or so, I will be holding sprite contests on the Arkeis Youtube channel. Anyone is free to enter these contests as long as you have a youtube account (which is free and easy to create). These contests are fun ways to show off your spriting skills while getting the oppurtunity to win some cool prizes as well.
There are some basic rules you must follow in all of the contests:
1. NO STEALING! All sprites must be created by you. Stealing someone else's sprite is a serious violation. This also includes taking a sprite you didn't make and making changes to it. The only sprites you can work with are the official video game sprites or another sprite that you made.
If you are caught stealing you will be disqualified and banned from the next contest. If you are caught twice, you will be completely banned from all contests!
2. No flaming others. Don't say bad things about other people or their sprites.
3. Each contest has several categories. You may enter as many categories as you like, but you may only submit one sprite per category.
4. You must be subscribed to the Arkeis Youtube channel. This way, you can be informed of the winners as well as find out when future contests are held. Just click the yellow button to subscribe.
5. You must post your video as a response to the official contest video. This lets me easily find your contest entry. To do this, go to the Youtube page of the video. Below the video, click on Video Responses and Post a Video Response.
